ARTEMIS is a European research programme funded by a combination of private and public investments, and focuses on the industrial area of Embedded Systems. ARTEMIS projects focus on the following specific sub-programmes:

- ASP2. Healthcare systems
- ASP3. Smart environments
- ASP4. Efficient manufacturing and logistics
- ASP5. Computing environments for embedded systems
- ASP6. Inter-networked ES for Security and Critical Infrastructures Protection
- ASP7. Embedded technology for sustainable urban life
- ASP8. Human-centric design of embedded systems
ARTEMIS projects are eligible for up to 60% funding: 16.7% from the ARTEMIS-JU and 43.3% from IWT, see the dedicated IWT website for more details.
ARTEMIS uses a 2-stage process: a project outline and a full project proposal are submitted and evaluated centrally. Please consult the ARTEMIS JU website for more information.
